Professional background

I trained as an architect and specialise in helping demanding clients get the most out of technology in buildings. In 1993 I founded a company that designs and installs bespoke entertainment, security, lighting, environmental control and communication systems for private clients and premium homebuilders. In 2005 I launched a company offering in-home technology support and home wiring systems for the volume housebuilder and DIY market. In 2006 I launched the world's first high-end wireless loudspeaker for use with SONOS or Apple products. In 2008 I launched the world’s first iPhone/iPod Touch remote control application. My current area of focus is the design of simple, robust, smarthome solutions for ordinary people.
